Danny Pinedo is an associate professor in the Department of Anthropology at Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (Lima, Peru). He holds a PhD in anthropology from the University of Florida. His research explores the intersections between indigeneity and state formation in the Peruvian Amazon, with a focus on the production of indigenous ethnicities and territories.
